1. Finally given in and picked up a copy of this after seeing it uni library, love the fact this monster comes in it's own case!
2. Just obtained this book with the impressive handled packaging. The book/atlas itself is very strong, with a competent overall design and very pragmatic showing of a massive amount of works. An architectural tome. Overall printing quality is very good. Paper is somewhat thin but in a book this size, it's acceptable. Images are clear and the graphic art illustrations and charts, indexes have a modernist note which helps frame and catalog the works from a dry and distilled perspective.
   
   
   One important aspect is the images of buildings/houses/super structures that show the spaces in action, whether lived in or demonstrating their purpose. It adds a bit more historical depth. Also blue prints.
   
   At this point, this atlas can be acquired for under $100.00, either from Phaidon itself or resellers.
   
   An impressive very large book that carries a lot of content in stylish hardbound. 20th century retrospective architectural overview.
3. Wow, this is very impressive! Not only is the collection exhaustive, but having all these diverse designs in one spot will certainly show synergies in design evolution and innovation, I can't wait to get a closer look to see the influences of our past architectural styles and movements. No doubt this body of work will inspire the next wave of design!
