Tip Top Lofts 637 Lakeshore Blvd West Suite 124 For Sale Toronto

Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

History Formerly Tip Top Tailor was an industrial building built in 1920 and was the site for manufacturing menswear. An Art Deco building designed by Bishop and Miller was granted heritage status by the city of Toronto in the 80’s. In 2002 the building was sold to developers and they brought the magnificent structure to what we know today as Tip Top Lofts. Parks and Recreation Located in the Fort York area and steps from the waterfront, it offers plenty in the way of recreation for folks living in this neighbourhood. Just to the west of Tip Top are the long meandering trails and parks along the waterfront stretching out all the way to Etobicoke. To the east one immediately stumbles upon Little Norway Park, which is a hidden and tranquil gem in this downtown district of Toronto. With the back drop of the old Canadian Malt site and the many new and older condo towers adorning the Toronto Skyline, Little Norway Park offers a great place for people to come and hang out and get some rest from their busy life schedule. At the base of the Malting Building is another hidden gem of a park right on the water front; Ireland Park, with it’s stark figures and bronze sculpture interpretations of the famine ships which fled Ireland in earlier times, one captures a most unique perspective of what these humble folks fleeing starvation would have seen as they came ashore in Toronto. Coronation Park close by also has one of the city’s few Of-Leash Dog Parks. The Music Garden as well offers a tranquil get away along the waterfront district as well as the many facilities such as the Harbourfront Centre which bustles with events and concerts throughout the year. The proximity to the downtown core, the CN Tower, The Rogers Centre, the Air Canada Centre and so much more is what’s attractive about the location of Tip Top Lofts. Transportation From a transportation perspective, you are literally minutes walk from the Billy Bishop city airport. Many folks commute daily to many major cities in Canada and the U.S. for work and it’s not unusual to see air staff walking home from their stint in the air. Furthermore, being on Lakeshore Blvd West, it takes minutes to get to the Gardeners Expressway, which travels East-West along the base of Toronto. A minutes walk and you can catch the Streetcar either heading east towards Union Station and Toronto’s east end, west all the way to Long Branch in Etobicoke and north towards Bathurst Subway Station and beyond.
