When you are an archi-zombie who feeds on scores of architectural pages, stalks dozens of architectural websites and dreams of making it big as a modernist, neo-futuristic architect, travelling to the capital of modern architecture is not just a desire, it is a need. We were lucky enough to have spent five days of bliss with fifty unique souls in this country that spells grandeur like no other. While hospitality is a quality generally attributed to humans, UAE proves that architecture done right can not only fulfill theses criterias but also enhance them. Experiencing the likes of the tallest building, the biggest mall and the most unique buildings with fifty different point of views was a feat that we achieved for the first time. While our company was diverse, so were our destinations. Our itinerary advertised buildings of world importance, the highest and the most unique, the old and the new, malls and mosques, palaces and museums, artificial islands and oasis cities and the trademark safari that was the star of the show. We revelled in the old world charm of abras floating down from Deira to Bur Dubai and savoured the gargantuan modern developments. It is often said that a life isn't significant except for its impact on others lives.Thank you for being a part of this undeniably fantastic trip and for helping us promote our effort to educate!
