Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind New York City

Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

The New York Neo-Futurists' signature show Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind (created by Greg Allen) is an on-going, ever-changing attempt to perform 30 plays in 60 minutes. Performed every Fri + Sat night at 10:30pm in NYC's East Village. TOO MUCH LIGHT... plays 50 weeks a year. Same time each week. Different show each week! If you’ve seen the show once, you’ve seen the show once. One time. The audience is fully part of the act, deciding the order that these plays are performed. Each week, these plays shift as ensemble members add new plays to the existing body of work. Each night of performance, we aim to create an unreproducible living newspaper of the comic and tragic, the political and personal, the visceral and experimental.
