While on vacation I visited a beautiful example of Art Deco architecture, the Cincinnati Union Terminal. I record the sounds of the Terminal and ramble about what I see. **Warning** I am quite enamored of this building and get a bit carried away with talking about it so I included photos I took so you could see for yourself how awesome it is.

Capture photographs of areas not routinely open to the public such as the restored President’s Office, The Cincinnati & Losantiville Dining Room and the original Men’s Lounge, now the Amtrak Waiting Room. Visit Tower A, once the main control tower for Cincinnati Union Terminal, where the Train Director managed all incoming and outgoing trains. $35 Non-Member Registration Deadline: August 22
7. The management office has wood inlaid map of the US above the deco fireplace. Men's lounge has built chairs that have special places for the cigars and cocktails. The women's lounge has sculpted leather made into a jungle scene of animals. The restored back dining hall has a cool ceiling that is a must see. I love that the newsreel theatre still has the original horse hair seats (dyed red). The last 3 places I mentioned can be reached without a tour. You need to narrate a documentary.
8. Union Terminal! That place is beautiful... I was there a few weeks ago for the amazing Pompeii exhibit (go see before August, if you can!). And my sweetheart lives in Cincy! <3 this city so much! He lives 80 miles away from me, so watching this video brings back sweet memories of our trips there and helps me feel just a little closer to him. Don't you just love the Art Deco architecture? 14. Living in cincinnati and visiting the museum often, I am surprised that each time I visit the museum I discover new things that I didn't know of or seen the visit before...awesome building!
