The Auckland Council is set to debate placing a heritage order on three art deco houses in St Heliers, which are due for demolition over the next few days.

These unscrupulous 'developers' (yes, the word is a misnomer) are just a scourge of society, in their souls penchant to destroy heritage, or just something that gives a familiar sense of place. Usually it’s something that’s been there far longer than their own years, so they can create a blandscape of glass and steel (reflecting their own bland type of mind) to line their pockets, with no regard to anyone or thing except themselves. They make me sick, hope justice prevails on this evil prick.
Len Brown, the "Heritage" mayor has let this happen, he just lie's through his grimacing smile and allow Auckland become a cultural wasteland.
