www.RobertKoshgarian.com House of the Future: HOTF by: Robert Koshgarian statement by: Marc-Antoine Laugier; "An essay on architecture", 1753, 11-14. Defining the necessity of architecture by its natural origin and the transcendence of natures systems into the design of shelter as first step towards design for comfort. The discovery of a need, leads to the discovery of a thought process of how to exist within natures existent parameters. Nature in all of it's appeal has a point where it's accommodations fall short on the needs of comfort. The drive for comfort begins to unveil a need for process and reason. These process and reasons are defined as building elements and their relations to the man made to the natural systems that transcend their medium.
