University of Lincoln Research Showcase: Engaging the Public with 21st Century Literature Doctor Sian Adiseshiah, Lincoln School of Humanities Doctor Martin Eve, Lincoln School of Humanities Who decides what makes good contemporary literature? Who are the great writers and what are the great texts of the last decade or so? These are the questions that Dr Adiseshiah and Dr Eve look to answer through their work, engaging the public with 21st century literature. They engage the public both directly, at festivals and events, and online through open access content including a literary criticism journal, which is now used in schools and has readers on every continent but Antarctica.
