Built by the General Consul of Peru in Milan, Generoso Galimberti born in Seveso the March the 5th 1846, is on two floors villa with a belvedere tower block with a wide top porch and terrace supported by elegant columns. It is in Art Nouveau style, the facade is made with red aged clay, spacious in its colonial way entrance to recall the structure of overseas villas. The Interior is decorated with paintings and frescoes typical of the XIII century. In his garden there are significant quality plants, a red clay tennis court and a prefabricated wooden Pavilion which was exhibited at the Milan trade fair of 1918, there was also a greenhouse and other structures like farm buildings and hunting grounds. In 2008 the heirs of Generous Galimberti (family Baldwin) have decided to start a renovation of the villa. La Peruviana is a multi-floor villa for area of about 1,800 square meters. The main floor, along with a service area with garages, features wide halls with enrichments ranging from the “Late Empire” to Liberty style, a comfortable and luxurious bedroom area and a main tower which stands over the underlying plateau with a stunning view to the snow-capped Alps and the Monte Rosa. The surrounding park covers 40,000 square meters, it features big oak and plane trees arranged in sections which serve also as windbreaks; it houses in the park woods playing fauna, an eco-system enriched by precious natural pool, sunny meadows which fit to play games and to have a walk in the nature.
