The first zero-carbon city, which has been built just outside of Abu Dhabi, serves as a live example of the theory of sustainable living. Such futuristic city designs greatly rely on new technology, renewable energy resources and people, who are set on living "green" and promoting such eco-lifestyle. Even though there are not many unusual city technologies of the in Masdar City, the scientists have already outlined a list of possible inventions, which will become mainstream in the eco-city of the nearest future.
