Why Britain Sucks At Product Placement

Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

Britain has some of the strongest product placement rules in the world - and it means YouTube vloggers have to declare their advertising before you click on the video. Why? 1. probably one of the nicest things of living in the UK, however i wish they would regulate advertising on buses, they drive around like massive billboards and look like eyesores.
  2. I personally think product placement is a disgusting practise. I don't mind showing people drinking coke when they would normally be drinking coke. But when someone pays for that, he wants to manipulate your audience and that's just disingenuous.
  3. The title makes this seem like it's a bad thing. Britain is awsome with these laws :D

  12. On national Belgian television, you have two options:

    1. Name the brand, but then you cannot have the product on the screen.

    2. Have the product on the screen, but then you cannot say the brand name.

... it leads to akward transitions.
  13. THIS is perfect! This is how everything suppose to be! Well done Britain!
